For the first time, the Duarte Public Safety Office is offering an evening rabies vaccination clinic, making it easier for working residents to take care of their pets' health and licensing needs.

In partnership with VET CARE, this low-cost Vaccination and Licensing Clinic will take place on Friday, July 25 from 5-7 PM at Encanto Park (751 Encanto Parkway). Check or credit card will be accepted for vaccination services. Cash, check, or credit card will be accepted for licnesing.

Services include:

• Rabies vaccination: $15 ($12 rabies vaccine + $3 medical waste disposal fee)

• Microchip registration: $35

• Additional vaccinations: Available upon request

Dog Licensing Fees:

• One Year, Unaltered: $60

• One Year, Spayed/Neutered: $25

• Senior Citizens (65+): One free license for a spayed/neutered dog per property

Avoid late fees, renew by August 31, 2025! After August 31, 2025, penalty rates apply:

• One Year, Unaltered: $120

• One Year, Spayed/Neutered: $85

Reminder: All dogs over four months old must be vaccinated for rabies to comply with state law. With Duarte's natural foothills nearby, encounters with wildlife are possible. Don't wait, vaccinate!
