The City of Duarte is pleased to announce that its new official website and staff email domain, CityofDuarte.ca.gov, is now live!

This update is part of statewide initiative to enhance online security and improve transparency in government communications. The change follows Assembly Bill (AB) 1637, authored by Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin and signed into law in October 2023, which requires all California cities and counties to migrate to a .gov or .ca.gov domain by January 1, 2029.

By adopting CityofDuarte.ca.gov ahead of the state deadline, the City is taking proactive steps to protect residents from online impersonation, ensure that official communications are easily identifiable, and provide a secure platform for public information and services.

What's Changed:

• Website: The City's former web address now redirects to www.CityofDuarte.ca.gov

• Email Addresses: Staff email addresses now use the new domain (e.g. JDoe@CityofDuarte.ca.gov)

Any visits to the City's previous website (www.AccessDuarte.com) and emails sent to addresses ending in @AccessDuarte.com will automatically redirect to the correct CityofDuarte.ca.gov domain. This redirect will be temporary, so the City encourages everyone to begin using the new domain as soon as possible. The City also recommends residents, businesses, and community partners to update their bookmarks, saved links, and contact information to reflect the new domain.
