The 2026 Homeless Count in Duarte is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21 at 8 PM. The deployment site will be at the Duarte Senior Center (1610 Huntington Drive). 

Each year cities across Los Angeles County, including the City of Duarte, conduct a tally of the unhoused population in their communities. The count, made possible by volunteers, provides data that is essential to understanding the extent of homelessness in L.A. County and shapes how the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) provides resources and services to individuals experiencing homelessness. 

This is your chance to make a real impact! Your efforts will help LAHSA identify needs, direct resources, and develop strategies to combat homelessness. 

Volunteers are encouraged to form “Count Team Bubbles” with friends, family, or coworkers. If you don’t have a team, you can join a team at the deployment site!
