Parks and Recreation Announces New Online Registration System Coming in March 2026

Post Date:01/26/2026

The City is kicking off 2026 with exciting updates and improvements as Parks and Recreation looks ahead to an even more active year for the community.

Beginning March 9, 2026, the Parks and Recreation Department will transition its online registration system from ACTIVENet to Kaizen, a new, more user-friendly platform designed to enhance the customer experience. Kaizen will make it easier for residents and guests to register for programs, reserve facilities, and purchase services, all in one streamlined system!

As part of this transition, residents and guests with unused credit on their ACTIVENet accounts have been contacted directly. Customers were reminded of their available credit and were strongly encouraged to review the City’s winter season recreational offerings and apply any remaining credit by February 1, 2026.

Credits not used by  February 1, 2026 will remain valid. However, customers will be required to visit the Parks and Recreation Department in person at Duarte City Hall (1600 Huntington Drive) so that staff can administratively apply the credit within the new Kaizen system. Credits will remain valid through June 30, 2026.

The Parks and Recreation Department appreciates the community’s cooperation during this transition and looks forward to offering a more efficient and accessible registration experience through Kaizen. Additional information and updates will be shared as the launch date approaches.

For questions or assistance, residents are encouraged to contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (626) 357-7931, or visit Duarte City Hall (1600 Huntington Drive).
