Office of Assemblywoman Rubio Seeks Nominees for the 2026 Woman of the Year Award

Nominations are now open for California Assemblywoman Blanca E. Rubio’s 2026 Woman of the Year Awards for Assembly District 48!

Each year, the California State Assembly honors exceptional women from across the state who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, service, and dedication to their communities. Through this recognition, the Assemblywoman’s Office will spotlight several women from Assembly District 48 whose contributions have made a meaningful and lasting impact.

If you know a woman who is making a difference, whether through advocacy, public service, education, nonprofit work, business leadership, or grassroots efforts that uplift and strengthen the community, please nominate them by completing the nomination form by Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Nominees must reside or significantly contribute to Assembly District 48, which includes the following cities: Azusa, Baldwin Park, Charter Oak, Covina, Duarte, Glendora, Irwindale, Mayflower Village, Monrovia, South Monrovia Island, South San Jose Hills, Valinda, Vincent, West Covina, and West Puente Valley.
