The City will soon begin construction on two decorative pedestrian crosswalks as part of the Highland Promenade Project. These improvements are intended to enhance pedestrian visibility, safety, and the overall streetscape along Highland Avenue.

Construction will take place at the following intersections:

• Fasana Road at Highland Avenue – Crossing closed March 2 through March 8

• Evergreen Street at Highland Avenue – Crossing closed March 9 through March 15

During the listed dates, each intersection will be fully closed to through traffic while work is underway.

Traffic control signage and barricades will be in place 24 hours a day during the applicable closure periods. Clearly marked detour routes will guide motorists along Highland Avenue, and the use of alternate routes is recommended when possible. The City and its contractor will work closely together to ensure the construction process is as smooth and efficient as possible.

Please refer to the maps below for a visual of the full intersection closures and traffic flow impacts during each construction period. The highlighted areas indicate where through traffic will not be permitted.
