The City of Duarte has partnered with ONYX Pavement Company to move forward with its FY 2025–26 Street Rehabilitation Project to improve roadway conditions and enhance accessibility throughout the community. Work will include grinding and repaving asphalt streets, as well as reconstructing key concrete features such as ADA-compliant ramps and cross-gutters.

Construction will take place in two phases:

• Phase 1 – Concrete Improvements: April 6 through April 17, 2026

• Phase 2 – Grind and Repave: April 20 through April 24, 2026

Work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM, excluding holidays. Residents can refer to the accompanying project maps for specific locations. Additional related work is expected to be completed by May 12, 2026.

During construction, temporary impacts should be expected. “No Parking” signs will be posted on affected streets at least 72 hours in advance to provide notice of scheduled work. Access for through traffic may be limited at times, and residents are encouraged to avoid parking on posted streets and to use alternate routes whenever possible. The City and its contractor will work closely together to minimize disruptions and complete the project as efficiently as possible.
