The Duarte Route 66 Parade Committee is now accepting applications for participants in this year’s highly anticipated Duarte Route 66 Parade, taking place on Saturday, September 26. The parade is a vibrant celebration of community pride, culture, and the rich history of America’s most iconic highway.

This year’s celebration will place special emphasis on commemorating 100 years of Historic Route 66 and the lasting impact the “Mother Road” has had on communities across the country, including Duarte. Residents, schools, community groups, marching bands, classic car clubs, businesses, and local organizations are all encouraged to participate and help bring the spirit of Route 66 to life.

Whether you’re showcasing community pride, honoring local history, or celebrating the centennial of Route 66 with a classic car or performance, this is your opportunity to be part of one of Duarte’s most cherished traditions.

Parade applications and sponsorship forms must be submitted no later than Saturday, September 5. Parade applications may be mailed to the Duarte Route 66 Parade Committee, P.O. Box 1122, Duarte, CA 91009, or emailed to Route66Parade@gmail.com. Sponsorship forms must be submitted by email to Route66Parade@gmail.com.
