Looking for ways to lower your energy bills and make your home more comfortable? Duarte residents are invited to take advantage of free Home Energy Efficiency Assessments through the Efficient San Gabriel Valley (eSGV) program. The program is offered through the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) in partnership with the Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN) to help homeowners and renters identify opportunities to improve their home's energy efficiency while connecting them with valuable rebates, incentives, and resources.
The personalized assessments are available in person or virtually and take a "whole house" approach, evaluating the many factors that contribute to your home's energy use. During the assessment, trained staff will review areas such as:

Home and office electronics

Indoor and outdoor water usage

Available rebates, incentives, and energy-saving programs
Following the assessment, participants will receive a customized action plan within 7 days, outlining recommended improvements, available rebates, and resources to help them begin energy-efficiency projects.
