The City of Duarte is pleased to announce the completion of resurfacing improvements at the Duarte Sports Park courts, providing residents with refreshed, high-quality recreational facilities for pickleball and futsal!

As one of the City's most heavily used recreational amenities, the Duarte Sports Park courts serve a wide range of users, including participants in the City's senior pickleball program, local youth soccer and futsal organizations, and residents who enjoy casual drop-in play. With consistent use throughout the year, the court surfaces had naturally experienced wear over time, including cracking, chipping, and faded striping.

The resurfacing project restored the courts to enhance both safety and playability. Improvements included resurfacing the existing courts, repainting futsal and pickleball court lines, and installing two permanent pickleball courts with net systems. The project also refreshed the two multi-use futsal courts, each of which accommodates two pickleball courts, maximizing recreational opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels.

These improvements help ensure that Duarte Sports Park (1401 Central Avenue) continues to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable space for recreation, fitness, and community connection.
