The City of Duarte wants to hear from you! The City is conducting community outreach to better understand the transportation needs of residents and riders as it explores the possibility of microtransit for the future.

Duarte currently provides fixed-route public transportation through the Duarte EBus in partnership with Foothill Transit. As the City considers the future of local transportation services, community feedback will play an important role in helping the City understand how people use public transportation, where they need to travel, and what matters most when choosing to use transit.

The City is exploring the possibility of on-demand microtransit. Unlike a traditional bus that follows a fixed route and schedule, microtransit allows riders to request shared rides within a designated service area. As the scope and details of a potential microtransit service are being formulated, the City is seeking community input as part of this process.

Residents, current transit riders, and potential riders are encouraged to share their feedback by completing the City’s transportation survey. The survey is available online in both English and Spanish.

Prefer to complete the survey on paper? Printed copies in English and Spanish are available at City facilities. Completed surveys may be returned to Duarte City Hall (1600 Huntington Drive).

The survey is one part of the City’s broader community outreach efforts regarding transportation in Duarte. The City will also be sharing information and gathering feedback at upcoming community events.
